- The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Procurement of Project Implementation Partners (PIPs) for Housing Reconstruction and Restoration in Balochistan
- The Housing Reconstruction Unit now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Services to support the reconstruction and restoration of flood damaged houses in Balochistan.
- Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Section Housing Reconstruction Unit (HRU) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
- The bidding documents in English be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 3000 for each set.
- A pre-bid conference will be held on October 15, 2024 Time: 2:00 PM, Any questions/queries may be delivered to the address given below in writing at least 07 days before the deadline for submission of bids.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM of 21st October 2024, at which time they will be opened publicly in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
- Bids shall be valid for a period of 91 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by security of 2% of the Bid Price (for each Lot), Bidders have the option to Bid for any one or more lots.
- As provided in the bidding documents, bidders engaged in corrupt or fraudulent practices (including collusion/pooling) will be declared ineligible, either in indefinitely or for a stated period of time, to be awarded a contract financed by the World Bank.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
