This visionary effort reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to equity, resilience, and sustainable development, ensuring that the people of Balochistan long at the frontlines of climate vulnerability are now at the heart of a modern, transparent, and people-centered reconstruction movement that restores hope, dignity, and opportunity across the province..
Housing Reconstruction Unit Core Functions
Flood-Resilient Housing Reconstruction
Plan, supervise, and facilitate construction of safe, climate-resilient, and dignified housing units for 2022 flood-affected households.
Beneficiary Identification & Verification
Ensure transparent beneficiary selection through verified data, community validation, and approved eligibility criteria.
Financial Management & Grant Disbursement
Manage housing assistance grants, tranche-based disbursement, and financial controls in coordination with partner banks and stakeholders.
Social Inclusion
Ensuring that women & marginalized groups have access to our systems & information is a priority, fostering a community-driven approach to disaster resilience.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (M&E)
Track physical and financial progress, ensure compliance, and produce regular progress reports for government and development partners.
Safeguards & Institutional Strengthening
Ensure environmental, social, and gender safeguards, with special focus on vulnerable groups, women-headed households, and marginalized communities. Build capacity of staff, field teams, and local stakeholders
