Prime Minister Distributes Completion Certificates to Flood-Affected Housing Beneficiaries

Under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, completion certificates were distributed to beneficiaries whose houses have been successfully constructed under the Housing Reconstruction Program for families affected by the 2022 floods. The initiative is being implemented by the Government of Pakistan through the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives and the Housing Reconstruction Unit (HRU) – IFRAP.
During the ceremony, the Prime Minister handed over completion and ownership certificates to deserving families, formally recognizing the completion of their homes built in accordance with approved safety and resilience standards. Reaffirming the government’s resolve, he emphasized that the provision of secure and dignified housing remains a top priority, and that the program reflects the state’s commitment to transparent governance, community rehabilitation, and long-term resilience in flood-affected areas of Balochistan.
